Ha, yes that does sound a lot like me. I wouldn't be surprised if I did or didn't have it. Maybe my doctor will test me for it. I'm pretty sure my doctor is getting tired of all of the "ideas" this site has been giving me, haha. He laughs and usually says "what did they suggest now?" But I think he realizes I'm just trying to wrap my head around this all and figure out what is going on with my body. Thanks for the new suggestion!

Thumbs Down Hurting

Wow. Really feeling like crap lately. I've "unintentionally" gotten off my meds twice in the last two weeks (they make me so sick, sometimes I get sick just by looking at them or smelling them), and probably only made myself worse. I've had a nonstop migraine for almost a week now. It got so bad two days ago that I went to the ER because my meds just weren't helping with it. That helped some, for the rest of that day, but I can't go in there every day or every other day, can I? I've been there twice in the last month, but they just lecture me. My neurologist recently changed as well. I have yet to meet my new doc. I have an appointment scheduled for the 19th, but I tried to make a sooner appointment after the ER trip. They said the earliest they could get me in was the 22nd. I'm just going to have to wait for the 19th I guess then. Anyways, feel like I'm dying. Sometimes the pain is so bad I think about cutting out the offending area of my head with a knife just to make it feel better, but I don't really tell anyone that, since they're sure to think I mean to commit suicide. Which is not the case at all. I'm just thinking up creative ways to deal with pain management! ok, a bit morbid, but you get my point. I hurt.

The Inspire website has quite a bit of information including pain management that has helped many. Hope you figure things out.
