Hello, my name is dawn and my daughter who is 17 yrs old went through a full spinal fusion in 2004 of july and ever since she has had chronic pain, I don`t where because she can not talk just body language and consistant crying.Urine retention, constipation, small and large intenstinal problems and the list goes on. My daughter is severly mentally challenged, so doctors are not helping because she can not say where her pain is and I feel helpless.
Is there anybody out there who has any kind of advice for me please!!!! Thank You, Dawn ![]() |

Gosh that is so terrible that they are not considering her pain levels?
I also wonder if she has gotten RSD {also called CRPS}? We have a RSD forum here, the members may be of some help with suggestions and such. RSD forum- http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=21 But her pain must get under control - ask or demand a pain doc referral?
