My name is Wendy. I'm 22 and currently struggling with the realization that I never been with anyone intimately. Having Cerebral Palsy is absolutely a factor in my lack of romances.

Welcome to the site!

My older sister has CP and, like you, has yet to meet a significant other. Such a shame because someone is missing out on connecting with a wonderful, warm person.

Still, she never gives up and makes a point of getting out there socializing as much as possible. She hasn't yet met that someone special, but she has made a large cadre of friends who contribute fun and meaning to her life.

Remember, too, that you are still very young. Despite the images presented by the media, a lot of people your age are still looking. Try not to despair.

There are a great number of people like you with a handicape. The good Lord has put someone here for them. There is a couple at the church where we attain, she has CP she and her DH are so happy. I was so lucky to meet a kind man we have been married 40 happy years.
