Hiya
![]() I also suffer from chronic OA, a work place accident busted up both my arms over 13 yrs ago and CMP has screwed up my knees for far longer. Along with both rotor cups being damaged from the accident, just now given me alot of pain, one needs surgery. So in about 2 months the recommend'd pain managment specialist will be able to see me, so we can discuss that option. Up til recently, I took a very small amount of pain meds, I just put up with the pain. I'm told I have a high tolerance, I say "why cry, the pain won't lessen any, lol"...More bloodwork/testing scheduled soon, gonna test AC1 ect ect more. Been disabled 6 years now, but I bust my tail around the house, just ask my spouse, haha. I exercise, it's good for the OA, I eat what's "good for me", shy away from the fatty foods and such. And I exercise my mind, alot. Have too many hobbies, lol. Alot of projects, but that's good also, keeps me busy. But my spouse is an angel, I tell yah. Sticking with me for over 30 years now. SPouse says that it takes too long and too much effort, to break in a replacement model. Hah ! Thanks for having me. Whew, nice too get all that out of me ! ![]() Last edited by Anaberration; 05-16-2014 at 10:00 AM. |
