Default New Member. VP Shunt surgery in 1990. I have been fine ever since

Hit me up for questions or comments.

At age 7 I had Spinal Meningitis.

At age 18 it was discovered that I had Acquired hydrocephalus.

At age 18 I had my VP shunt surgery with roughly 6 shunt mods in less than 6 weeks.

I missed an entire year of college due to the fact that I had to learn how to walk, talk, chew, swallow all over. I pretty much was back to an infantile stage.

I'm in my early 40's now and I have been fine ever since my last vp shunt surgery.
