I was just diagnosed on Friday with Pseudotumor Cerebri.
No one would listen to me, I knew something was not right. I went to the emergency room countless times, in so much pain and pressure. Nothing touched it. I thought I was going crazy Finally I got in with a neurologist that believed me and immediately ordered another LP, the ER doctor did not want to do it I could tell. As soon as I had the LP for the 2nd time my head pressure and pain was almost gone. I was told to lose weight and was put on Diamox Im glad I found this site, I can relate with so many of the stories being told. I'm scared, tired of the constant pressure, pain, my ears swooshing all the time. I just wish the Drs and nurses would listen when situations like this come up. I didn't want the drugs, nothing works I just wanted help. |
