Default hello out there -- new with PPMS

I'm a newbie-diagnosed last yr. with primary progressive M.S. at the tender age of 61. Anyone out there with this diagnosis? I find lots of RRMS but not other forms.

I never really got to "enjoy" the RRMS stage......by the time I received my dx my neuro was fairly sure I had moved on to SPMS. I was 25, and now am 29, and feel like in many ways I can see how my MS is progressing almost textbook......not that there is a definite pattern with MS......just mine has been pretty steady, not quite as unpredictable as the RRMS stage. Forgive me if that makes no sense......its late and I'm sleepy! LOL~~~Jess

Welcome, bbarbick! There are some friends in the MS forum but I'm not sure how many are PP. I'm SP now, but started as RR. Come join us!

Hi there,
You and I have something in common. I, too, was diagnosed with PPMS just shy of my 61st birthday in 2003. I am a little ahead of you in age
There are a few of us with late onset PPMS.
Welcome!
