Hi all,

I'm of course new to the forum and I'm looking for some self-injury support for myself. I'm hoping someone can direct me to the correct thread.

Since this is an introduction I let you all know that I'm 45 and live in Western Washington state. I am a travel agent and single parent with one boy.
I've had depression all of my life but was not first diagnosed until the age of 23. SI has been a coping mechanism of mine on and off for most of my adult life.

I look forward to meeting you and hopefully make some on-line friends that have an idea where I'm coming from.

((Lothlorien)) welcome. My long ago ex-husband was a Tolkien fan. I remember as we drove through some of the mountains of Germany, he claimed they were the basis of the locale. But he was out of his mind, as I finally figured out.

This is a wonderful forum. You'll make good friends and I hope it also helps you find peace of mind. And I'm sure we have SI'ers in our group. I hope they get to meet you.
