Smile Hi, I'm Lothlórien

Hi all,

I'm of course new to the forum and I'm looking for some self-injury support for myself. I'm hoping someone can direct me to the correct thread.

Since this is an introduction I let you all know that I'm 45 and live in Western Washington state. I am a travel agent and single parent with one boy.
I've had depression all of my life but was not first diagnosed until the age of 23. SI has been a coping mechanism of mine on and off for most of my adult life.

I look forward to meeting you and hopefully make some on-line friends that have an idea where I'm coming from.

Much love and peace,

Lothlórien

Hi, Lothlórien!

Welcome to NeuroTalk, we have a large and diverse community here and you're sure to find some good people to help you. I would recommend looking at the general mental health section.

What a cool name you have, what does it mean? Mine's kind of obvious, I used to ride a unicycle.

Thank you for your kind welcomes

Alffe: Lothlórien is from J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy world of Middle-earth. It refers to a hidden domain of the elves where trees bare flowers of gold and no evil dared ever to enter. It is a land of great peace.

Hi I'm Donna and I just wanted to welcome you too. Not sure if your looking for help for yourself or for a childs problem. Not that it matters.

But just wanted to chime in that if you have a child with any kind if problem,
that we in childhealth are always open with ears to listening too.

Donna
