Default UK member in pain for 18 years

hi to all and thank you .
I am married male and age 48 I have had 3 spinal operations over the last 18 years at L4/L5/S1 my last operation was ALIF I wanted ADR but my spine is too far gone for the implants .so a good old fusion had to do .but that was 3 years ago and I am now looking in to the nevro device as I am in pain with my lower back and right leg 24/7 .I do use the acticare device but like me its old ! and I could do with something a lot stronger as the pain is classed as intractable and I am on a lot of oxycontin and oxynorm for BT pain .I have lost sexual function {they tried an operation to sort it out but that was a fail } I carnt wear long pants or under wear as I am not able to stand anything on my legs so I have to wear shorts all the time ,I sleep for max 2 hours a night and live my life on a recliner .I was living in hope that if I am a suitable person for the nevro that I may get some quality back to my life .I look forward to advice and making new friends

Cool Smirk

Hi, Pinkfloyd,
Welcome from another Brit! …and I must say your profile pic is the ONLY perfect album ever produced.
I know pain, as you do - as many members here do. You have found a comforting, supportive place. I just wish we had no need for it. Explore the Forums, you will find what you need, whether it's information, a kind word or a place to vent.

Dave.
