Hello everyone new here need support forgive me if my writing is all messed up I'm new and going thru so much my mind is in circles and racing like no tomorrow. I truly just wish. I could hide in a soup can and not come out right now.
I suffer from a lot of conditions but right now the main ones are depression, anxiety, ptsd, manic, rapid cycling, bipolar, massive depressive disorder, well anyways. Everything was fine no problems. I was doing semi good till. I got triggered by something small and then it lead to a spiral effect and then it got bigger and bigger and I can not stop thinking about things. I feel like everyone is out to get me and can not trust anyone. I go to doctors appointment every week have tomorrow as a matter of fact. I called thou on Monday to see if. I could be seen early and was pushed to the side mind you. I have been going to this office for 3 years and they get paid good money from me well that ****** me off more on top of of why. I was already upset. I then been trying to deal with things the best that. I can on my own all by myself but its hard with no sleep hardly keep waking up all over this paper that came in the mail from SSA thinking. Im going to loose my SSDI where they ask me the question on the short for if I work or if my condition got worse this is my first time getting it ever and first time ever getting a form since. I only been on disability for a short time. Im just so scared they say I would hear a answer in 90 days and its only been 21 days and well Im waiting. Im so afraid and then I feel my doctors office if I did loose my SSD it would be because of my doctors office they would do it to me because of one person in the office who hates me she would work against me I feel she would do it to me ![]() |

I'll start with one of your issues that I licked after 10 long years of struggling. I had a depression going on for 10 years and believed in my GUT it was a sluggish thyroid and for 10 yrs the doc I was seeing back in 1991, kept giving me that "your labs are normal" mantra...and kept writing A/D scripts for 10 yrs.....Then in 2002 I called my osteopath MD who I went to for years for my back issues and asked him about thyroid and he called in for Armour and that depression lifted in 4 days....it was a sluggish thyroid all those years....
Then in 2006, I was feeling a lowness and uncovered the Vit D deficiency world....got my tanked levels up and that lowness went away. I take my armour and Vit D daily and many other supps. I do so much of my own healing and manage pretty well. I could be better but "it is what it is right now".... Hope you can get a handle on your issues.....but THRYOID can affect 66 some health issues. |

Hi Novoice,
You are going through a lot of serious Mental issues at the moment, and the stress is aggravating all of them. First of all, here is the Link to our Bipolar Forum: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum38.html You will find a warm welcome and support there. I assume you are taking meds for your issues, have there been any changes? Also, do you see a Therapist/Counsellor? I have suffered Depressive Personality Disorder all my life and have had severe Anxiety/Panic Attacks since '82. I know how difficult these illnesses make coping with daily life. Dave.

Hello NoVoice,
Welcome to NeuroTalk! ![]() I'm just leaving a couple of links below - You mention a number of different conditions so I'll leave the link to the list of Mental Health Conditions below. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum84.html Mental Health Conditions There is a PTSD forum in that list as well although it is fairly slow of late. You can find a PTSD forum at the sister site which is PsychCentral. http://forums.psychcentral.com/post-traumatic-stress/ As it is a different site, you would need to register separately over there just so you know. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum28.html Social Security Disability I hope you are feeling a lot better fast. There are many very caring and helpful people here to help you along the way. take care there. |

Hi Novoice,
I haven't had the same experiences as you, but some of the things you said really struck a chord with me. I woke up with a headache three years ago that never went away. I quickly lost hope for getting better and became very depressed. But last April, I did start to feel better. My pain isn't gone, but I realized that lots of doctors had tried lots of things to help me. Some of those things even helped a bit. So in April I was feeling pretty good, but something happened in May, not even that big of a deal really, that slammed me back down. I was angry, frustrated, sad, having huge mood swings and bad stuff got in my head that I couldn't get out. Then my heart started racing and wouldn't stop and I knew I needed to ask for help. So I did something I never thought I'd do. I called a crisis hotline. And it helped. All I had to say was "I need to talk," and the person who answered the phone took it from there. I was a huge relief just to talk to a sympathetic listener. The girl I talked to called me back at 10:00 that evening to tell me that she had found a local therapist who could see me within a few days. So I've been talking to her. I'm not much better yet, but I feel hopeful that I will be someday. I'm not suggesting that you talk to a therapist. From your post, I think you already have one. But you might want to call a hotline and just talk for awhile. Google "24 hour crisis hotline" or something like that. If you don't like Google, I can find some numbers for you. The number I called was provided by my insurance company, so I can't share that one, but there's tons of resources out there. Let me know if you need help finding them. Another thing you can do is what you've already done-sharing your story with this group. There are lots of generous caring people here who can help lighten your load. I'm glad you're here. Cheryl |
