Default abnormal EMG...

Hello... I joined up so I can get more information (and maybe give some eventually). I have been having profound weekness in my arms and legs - much more so in my arms. My right shoulder froze up and now my left one is starting but I never injured either one. I asked my neuro for an EMG and he got me one and it was abnormal - just like the ones that are for MG, ALS etc. I have had eye issues but they go back so long that I am not sure that they are related and it was always thought to be related to the Cushing's (which took over 12 years to get diagnosed as no one took my pituitary issues seriously and my body is in terrible shape as it is). ALS has been detected in two family members - one who has passed and one who is currently suffering so that is making me worried too.
Right now they are thinking Myathenia Gravis but so far none of the bloodwork has come back positive and no one else seems to be in pain or have a rash. I am still in the early stages and go for a chest mri in the next few weeks. Thanks for listening.
Jennifer
