Hi Vickie and welcome to NeuroTalk! You've come to a great place for support. You definitely should go to our Spinal Disorders forum and post this information for those folks. They'll be of great help to you. Here is where the Spinal Disorders forum is. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22

Your lower back sounds like mine. Understanding MRI results is difficult for me as well. But it definitely sounds like you're suffering some pain. I have degenerative problems as well in the same spots. I have a lot of tailbone pain.

Most likely your doc will suggest a pain management doctor is my guess. For years I had epidurals in my spine for the pain. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. A new pain management doc decided to try giving me sacroiliac injections instead, and that helped immensely.

Do go to the Spinal Disorders forum, and again welcome to NeuroTalk!
