Confused new to site
hello everyone
i am new to this site, i live in london uk, last friday i received results of my MRI from my GP, but am seeing my consultant this Thursday for full info. The results say L3-L4, L1-T12, T12-T11,.....show degenerative discs, can anyone tell me what this all actually means, i understand what happens with the discs, but for treatment etc.

Your lower back sounds like mine. Understanding MRI results is difficult for me as well. But it definitely sounds like you're suffering some pain. I have degenerative problems as well in the same spots. I have a lot of tailbone pain.

Most likely your doc will suggest a pain management doctor is my guess. For years I had epidurals in my spine for the pain. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. A new pain management doc decided to try giving me sacroiliac injections instead, and that helped immensely.
