I hope you have an experienced surgeon lined up..

Have you had any expert PT and/or expert chiropractic before surgery discussions?

Trigger point, rib mobilisations might be helpful , but does take time..
Do you know how you tos might have been caused?
Car accident/whiplash, falls, sports, repetitive work?

I wouldn't jump into surgery if the drs can't clearly explain what , why & how...
things to ask - what are they planning to address with surgery..
Rib resection? Scalenectomy ? pec minor?

This is not a surgery for just any surgeon that wants to practice..
Too many nerves & blood flow in that area to get disturbed..
