Tongue New member Hi my name is Marsha

I have had a few days stay in the hospital and lots of tests run with very little information coming back to me about what the results have been.

The next test that Neurologist wants to run is the 24 EEG. I'm pretty nervous about it. The 1/2 hour EEG in patient lasted over an hour and I had a lot of seizure activity. They said they did not see evidence of such seizures in my brain. I felt really stupid about this news. So I'm having a jerking party and I'm the only one that is invited? So it's being labled a psuedo seizure. Apparently not in my control, but not in my brain in an organic way. So again I feel like a dufus!! I'm very afraid that if I have any more seizure type acitivity I'll be told again.... you are just having pseudo seizures. Personally, I feel pretty guilty about that being true. Doesn't it basically mean I'm having a treat causing lots of medical attention when in fact there is nothing really wrong with me? I'm confused!
I have had alfactory hallucinations, visual and auditory but only just before the seizure. Otherwise, not.
I'm taking the dilantin, but GOOD LORD!! What an imbecille I am on this drug.
Well, that's enough ranting about my affiliction/prediction. Any thoughts?
