Ribbon Found this site from banner on another

I am newly registered. I was actually looking at the top of another forum when I saw the banner from this one. I need a friendly board where people are not mean to others.
My name is Debbie. I live in Allenstown, NH. I survived an SAH aneurysm on Feb. 3, 2006 while I was driving to work. I had just put my doctor number in my cell phone 2 weeks prior and had gone through what I know now as the usual symptoms. I pull over and called the office after realizing I was totally soaked from head to toe. The triage nurse ordered me to call 911. Next thing I knew, I was waking up at Dartmouth Medical in Lebenon NH. Wow...what an event, from then to today. Since then I have had a coil for a 5mm aneurysm, an Angio showing a compacted coil placement requiring repair. Had one week to decide whether I wanted another coil with stent or a clipping. That was tough to dobecause after I asked my doctor about the statistics on stents, he replied, "I don't have any, you're the first one." Dartmouth Medical is one of New England best top notch hospitals. What do I do? I opted for the stent and coils after reading other survivors had had this with success. I recieved a lot of guidance with the forum and I want to share by helping others.
