Smile

I can barely see right now - due to the Lyrica and diabetes - but what I can see is so cool. I can see what nerves are hurting me, and some are what the docs thought, and some aren't, like the nerves by my ears! Thank you sooo much for this, and I am so glad I checked in for this!

Good website. One reason I have always recommended that people LOOK at a very good anatomy book.

I found one.. Wolf Heidegger ...color atlas of Human Anatomy...it has all the muscles and nerves and bones and various angles.

I'd love to hear others thoughts on this book. It truly is worthwhile.

Mine is the one I gave a link to on Amazon.

The website version does not appear to be the book I have and doesn't seem as thorough.

I really can't emphasize enough the importance of LOOKING and getting to know your anatomy to HELP yourself.

There are a few pages in the book I have that are sooo clear about the relationships of many structures near the BP and first rib...it's truly amazing how little room there is often and that how vulnerable we all are to compression.

It'd be great if there was a book specifically geared to relieving the compression because often times I feel that I'm not doing thing and I get a flare up. The whole thing is very complex BUT I do think understanding the anatomy helps. It has helped me and I think it has helped towelhouse and others. We have almost become obsessed with tweaking our own anatomy for our own benefit and I think we are succeeding in beating this thing.

It's been a year since my dx and I am much much better. I have bad days when I think I have gotten worse but in hind sight I am much better than I was a year ago...and I need to learn the lesson of PATIENCE. With each flare up I learn something new that may have contributed to it or to releasing it. It is fascinating and still quite the PAIN IN THE NECK!
