What about getting a second opinion or a reevaluation plus a complete physical?
Be sure to find a very knowledgeable dr/professional.
Also there are different meds that may work better than the one that was tried, if those are found to be needed.

I will agree with Jo to get a second opinion and try other medicines because what will work for some does work for another.
