Hi, my name is Timm and I have been diagnosed with PD about 2 years ago with a second and third opinion. My main PD doctor is a research neurologist at LSU Health Science Center and a specialist in movement disorders. I also entered a clinical trial with him on creatin to slow the progression of PD. I have retired from te Air Force after 31 years and trained racehorses for the past 20 years. I had to retire from the racehorses as I can no longer handle them. My symptoms aren't too bad yet except for fatigue and the off times. I can never predict how a day will go and thus can not committ to the horses. I have a wonderful caregiver in my wife of 18 years who is a registered nurse. She makes sure I get all my medicines as I have a lot. I have had a total right hip replacement and have a lot of pain in the lower back and hip, which everyone agrees it is part of PD. I belong to a local support group and donate many hours to it's mission. I hope to enjoy this site as I do another PD site. Thanks and hope I can make friends and find help at this site. Timm
