Hi,
My name is Carole. My husband has peripheral neuropathy. He has been dealing with this for about the past 9 months. He is under dr. care and has also had a 2nd opinion (which both drs. agree on the neuropathy and its treatment. He is on SO MUCH MEDICATION it seems ridiculous to me. Gabitril, gabapentin, mirtazapine, oxycodon, and the list goes on. I know that all of this medication is screwing up not only his body, but also his mind and his mood. He is still holding down his job, but of course he struggle- because when he is in pain- he takes his pills and then he gets a bit woozy- but then after 1/2 he seems better. Can anyone out there give me any advise or tell me if another treatment is possible. Im at the point where I just want to throw every pill he takes away. I am trying to be as direct to the point as I can and I have been searching and reading up on this and I would like to have some info from anyone who is or has been dealing with this. I would appreciate any info someone can give me. Thank you so much. |
