Him I have PD for almost 5yrs now and my speaking ability hs declined terribly in the last 6 months. My mouth favors the left side and I mumble my words, Yet, if I pick up my facial cheeks tith both hands, I can speak pretty well. Is there any type of surgery to alleviate this condition of facial drooping?

Hi Lou...I see that you have posted on the PD forum. Have you seen an ENT?
I would also be curious if resconstuctive surgery would help you...as in "a mini face lift? ....pulling the skin over the cheeks up and tucking it comes to mind. Sounds crazy but I'd be tempted to have a consultation. ![]()
