I'm not really sure how this works, but uh... my name is Mary and I have been diagnosed as bipolar for a couple of years (no specifications beyond that, although some psychologists suggest schizoaffective). I typically respond terribly to most psychiatric medications so I'm always on a mission to find something that doesn't make me have seizures or just feel awful. I haven't been doing much anything productive towards therapy and psychological healing and I thought a good first step would be to find some other people to talk to, so hi

I have been seeing an acupuncturist for about a year now and he strongly stresses eating the proper way. Particularly he is a fan of the 'Chang Ming' Taoist diet, which is very difficult for someone with as little discipline as myself but would have phenomenal results if I could stay on it. I'm slowly working on evolving my diet of pasta and sweets to a mostly vegan diet with healthy fish for some natural omega 3's. I'll be looking into the book you've suggested, for sure.
