Hi there. I just found out that a brother of mine has been diagnosed with FTD. He is in his early fifties and has several children. I am somewhat skeptical of the diagnosis, although I don't live in his state and am not privy to all the symptoms and diagnosis. I'm here to learn more.

Hi mkennedy and Welcome to NT. I think your'e brother is very fortunate that you are trying to find info to help and understand his condition.

However, I, like the others do not know what FTD stands for.

How can we help??

In light of what you noted, I think it could be frontotemporal dementia with which your brother has been diagnosed. Is that right?
