Hello Vernae and welcome to NeuroTalk.

I would suggest making an appointment with her Primary Care Physician and discuss what took place at the eye appointment and your concerns.

It very well may be nothing but it's always a good idea to make sure.

Hi Vernae

I agree with Snoopy. The dr. seems to be a little up in years.
Might not be up to date with modern med. See your Pdr.

Let us know.

Hi, this is exactly what you wrote:

"I took my daughter to the eye doctor today and they did their thing...at towards the end of the exam, he asked her to close her eyes and touch the tip of her nose with her pointer finger. Now let me point out, my child is very, very bright. She's very active ie. dance, cheerleading, scooters... cooridination is her middle name."

What exactly happened? Did she do it wrong or something??

Duh me.

She hit the side of her nose and I have had her do it several times since then and she still can't touch the tip, it's either the side or close to between the middle of her eyebrows.
