Hi Phil and Welcome to NeuroTalk. Well, I won't comment on whether I think you should or should not have surgery, but I can understand your wanting to weigh all your options. Pain is awful; I am going thru some lumbar pain now and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

All I can say is.... I hope you have great success w/your surgery and if mine was fixable at this point, I would do it. But, that is MY situation.

Take care Phil and I hope you'll make yourself at home here and come back as soon as you can after surgery, (if it's still a go) to let us know how things are going.... You sound like your'e in good shape going in.
