Default Grief
I just lost my son Joe to ALS on January 4, 2008. He was 33 years old and was dx when he was 29.

His dad and I were his caregivers. We are overcome with grief. I thought nothing could be worse than watching his body deteriorate while his mind raced to keep active in our community.

But our grief overwhelms us... how do you cope with the loss of a child? How do you cope with losing someone to ALS? How do you move forward?

So very sorry for the loss of your son! My Grandfather passed from this disease, when I was a child.

I wanted to welcome you to the forum!

Hi Mimi and glad you found us. I am so very sorry about the loss of your son. I hope you know that you have found an extremely caring community here at NeuroTalk.

Please make yourself at home and feel like you can open up or vent anytime you want to. Again, I am saddened to hear of this.
