I would like to say hello to all of you. I am a 40 yr old Mom from the North-West who was in a car accident 3 1/2 years ago. My neck was broken in the accident at the C1-C2 level.

I tried for 2 years to continue to work as I absolutely loved my job. I am in so much pain at this point, I can not only not work, but cannot do many of the things I loved.

I am glad to find a forum of people who may have some of my same concerns. I hope to find support as well as give support to those new friends I find.

Hello Blake and Welcome to NeuroTalk. Glad you found us, but sorry about your neck probs. It was a tough decision when I left my job too. In the long run, it was the best thing for me. I miss certain aspects of working, but just couldn't do the pace and hrs any longer.
