Heart Back after a few years

Hello, I have come back after a very long absence.

I have had fibromyalgia since early childhood but wasn't diagnosed until several years ago. My mother had it as does my two sisters and my daughter and possibly my son.

One of the things I remember from the old board that people with fibro have a tough time reading when too many lines are posted together, so I'm going to try and remember to type short paragraphs.

In the time that I've been away, there have been two more grandchildren added to the previous 3. My husband has retired. My children and their families have had to move to other states, but hopefully one family will be back before the end of this year.

I recently had to have my shoulder reconstructed and repair done to my clavicle, so they fibro is in a bit of a flare. I have been a barber for over 30 years and this could be the end of that profession but I'm looking forward to what the good Lord had in store for me next.

I look forward to posting on the fibro board again and checking out some of the other boards. I have a daughter and step daughter who are bi-polar. Both suffer from depression and post-traumatic stress. My husband suffer from anxiety attackes. And one possibly two of my grandsons are autistic. One is defineatly Aspergers the other will be tested when he starts school this fall.

So as you can see from the above paragaph I will be catching up in a lot of areas. Mostly reading, I use to give lots and lots and lots of advice but I truly don't have the strength or energy for lots of research anymore. I'll answer or comment when I can, and where I feel it would be most helpful.

Most of my energy for the next six months will be my church and my rehab.

Thanks for still being here. I look forward to some good reading on some of my long sleepless nights.

God Bless.
