Confused Hi...I'm hoping someone might be able to help me...

I guess I've just become the newest member here. About two and a half months ago I started having severe burning pain almost everywhere but my head, though strongest around my upper back. I spent nearly a week in a hospital without getting any answers other than that it was most likely neuropathic pain before they discharged me--without diagnosis. Blood tests were normal, MRIs were normal, etc.

I'm currently on Lyrica 200mg 3xdaily and Fentanyl mcg/hr. Still no diagnosis, just a low enough amount of burn to notice another pain, one that hits hard between ten and thirty seconds after the original injury. And it hurts to be touched anywhere but my hands, feet, and head.

I'm just a college student, barely old enough to drink, and I'm really scared because I don't understand why this is happening or how to fix it, and neither does my neurologist. Has anyone here heard of anything that causes this or how to fix? I really want to be able to go back to school next semester, but I can't with the level of pain killers I'm on and the level of pain I'm still in.
