Default I'm new, too...

hi....hope i'm doing this right....i'm so "technologically challenged" that it isn't even funny. i have shy-drager's and have been dx'd for 4 years now. having a very hard time lately but have decided, i think, not to do anything.....it's hard and i realize what a weak person i am. funny how you lose friends when there's something wrong; they tend to run like you're contagious. or mine have, anyway. oh well, i guess that's just the way it is right now.
i hope that one of you reads this and writes back. tomorrow will be better!!! hippiechick

Hi, Hippiechick! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

You're doing just fine! I'm afraid I've never heard of shy-drager's so I'm not sure where to suggest you begin in our many forums. We do have a nifty search engine located in the toolbar near the top of every page. You might try searching for discussions that pertain to you.

Your attitude is great and I'm sure you'll find our community supportive and informative. Feel free to join in anywhere and let us know if we can assist you in navigating the forums.

Hi hippiechick and welcome to NeuroTalk!!!

Well, I had to do a little online research on shy-drager's and there's not that much out there about it. What I did find says it is associated with Parkinson's. So, in case you haven't visited our Parkinson's Forum I've posted the link to it below:

Like Tamiloo said you won't lose friends here. This site has some of the friendliest people around. We all have various conditions (I have MS) but we are all really just one big family.

Please take a look around - there are social forums when you get tired of talking about illness. I hope you'll join us there, too. Here's the link to that particular forum:
