Default Hello new member

Hi

My name is Kim and I have been having several new medical issues. I was tested positive for RA-just found out yesterday. I believe I also have PN and possibly sjogrens. I have been having many problems since Oct. I have been flaring for weeks. Any suggestions on treatment? I really want to try antibiotic therapy. I am confused as to whether I should take minocycline M,W,F or everyday. My Rheumatologist gave me a prescription because I asked but I don't think he realy believes in it. His instructions are 2 100mg per day. Is this the best way to do this? Thanks for any help on this!

Kim

Hello Kim, and welcome to NeuroTalk.

I'm sorry to hear about the Rh Arthritis as I know how painful that can be.

I wondered if you were to post in our Autoimmune Forum, whether some-one could answer your questions for you. Here's the direct link to it : http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum44.html

We also have an excellent medication forum where you might like to seek advice regarding the medication options available to you right now. Here's the link to that one as well : http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum72.html
