Thumbs up oldman

Hi Gang! Found this site while searching around for the tandem bike stuff. I am 74 years old ( and so is my wife of 54 yrs). We have lived in the same small town for over fifty years and suddenly find all the neighbors are getting old ( or worse). In fact, three of them have been diagnosed with PD in the last year. As I have grown to love all of them ( in varying degrees) over the years I thought that it might be worth a try to help them cope. When I saw the NBC piece on "Tandem Bikes and PD" I thought I might follow up on it and perhaps it could become a "Neighborhood Health Activity". I have lots more research to do but I will keep you posted on how it is going.

Hi, Warren! Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Is your middle name, by any chance, "Peace"?

Thanks for explaining the connection to the tandem bikes, we've had a few newbies asking about them and for the life of me, I could not figure out where this was coming from!

If you do find them, please let us know, curiosity is killing this cat!
