Exclamation Christy w/lots of bio info

Hey there everyone. My name is Christy. I was diagnosed with MS 12-05-2003. I have been working as a police dispatcher for the last 14.5 years. But.................currently, the last 6 weeks, I have been off work. I had to work a really bad call at work. My psychiatrist said it was probably the last straw. I guess I am in major depression mode. She doesn't think I should return to dispatching at all. Dr. Alvig says if I do go back, it will just be a matter of a couple weeks before I go into a more severe depression. It is a very hard thing for me to take. I feel like I am a weak failure. How can I let the depression win!! I really love my job. But at the same time I love my kids and don't want them to see me "depressed" all the time. OK........enough whining!

Good news........ I may be able to transfer to a different position within the police department. I will let you know when I find anything out.

More info about me..... I have 3 daughters. My oldest, Natasha is 21yrs. She is married, working part-time and working on her bachelors for creative writing. She writes wonderful poetry. Middle daughter, Charlotte is 16yrs. She is a sophomore, very shy, talks on the phone all day.. when she isn't out with friends, and has a few different boys that want to date her. Of course my husband, Jim is fighting that with all his power. My youngest, Leah is 13yrs (going on 30). She is 5ft 7in, thin build, long straight blond hair...very beautiful!!! She is very tough and doesn't let anyone push her around. She is definitely a leader. It is hard to admit... but she is just like me. Well except for the thin build and long blond hair part.

My husband is wonderful. He took very well to husband training.. ahahha.

I think I probably sent and overload of info. So, I will stop for now. *****WARNING ****I will be back again soon. XOXOXOX

P.S. I want to give thanks to my good friend Dave for introducing me to this site.
