need help understanding head mri report - reason -vertigo
IMPRESSION 1. No evidence of mass or abnormality in the brain stem or internal auditory canals or cerebellopontine angles. 2. Mild to moderate number of small, nonspecific foci of T2 hyperintensity in cerebral white matter. These are nonspecific in appearance but greater in number than usually seen at this age(50),clinical correlation is recommended regarding hypertension,vasculitis,lupus or other cause of microvascular disease versus other causes of gliosis,demyelination or edema. 3.Left mastoid fluid. Clinical correlation advised regarding possible infection versus obstructive lesion. ----can send FINDINGS if you need more info---- thank you |
