Wink Thumper in the House

First I want to say how deeply touched and amazed I am at such a wonderfully caring, organized and informative website.

I've been “enjoying” very mild neurological symptoms for the past year or so -- basically intermittent numbness/reduced sensation, weakness in my right arm, hand, leg and foot. Until recently it hasn’t interfered with my “normal” life. But occasionally my leg gets wobbly and my fingers get uncoordinated but I’ve managed. Now it’s gotten progressively worse and I was referred to a neurologist.

Fast forward to today and I’m going to be tested for MS on October 20th. I am having a MRI and a VEP testing. I am very light sensitive in my right eye and get unbearable eye pain. I wear out much more easier now , I get pins/needles feeling in my right leg and foot, I have a very hard time concentrating, dizziness, and feel like I am in a fog constantly now. I also now have a hard time going up and down steps as it’s becoming a struggle, hence the name THUMPER.

So I’ve been bad and trying to research all this and I found this site. I was told it may be possible that having a negative MRI but a positive VEP test could mean MS. Can anyone clarify this for me? I am confused somewhat about this and still trying to learn about MS.

HAHAHA SO CUTE I LOVE BUNNIES!

which reminds me.
I used to own a very cranky bunny. His name was Casey and he would thump his foot every time I put him down from holding him. And he always had that grumpy look on his face too

Welcome friend

Well there you all are. You won't believe what I did. I was at another forum because I couldn't figure out where I joined, brain fog. I even was giving the mods a hard time because my post wasn't showing up - you can post as a guest. But it was the wrong forum - insert smack head here

Thank you all so much for the welcomes, now that I know where I am.

And Twinkletoes, thanks for the message but I can reply for some reason. I can't even post smilies either.

And thank you for Thumper. I needed an avatar and now I have one. I just have to figure out how to get it up here.

I think I'd better go thumper in to the Stumble Inn and introduce myself.

You have to have 10 posts in the forum first and then you can reply to posts and you can also customize your profile as well

I hope this helps take care
