Default Hello All, new to the forums, just had surgery 1 week ago

Hello All, my name is nicky, im a guy( so theres no confusion with the name) lol. i just want to introduce my self and thank anyone and everyone in advance for any help they might offer me. i just had surgery last tuesday, i had a aneurysm clipped on the basilar artery tip. it happened pretty sudden so i dont know much about my situation yet. they did catch it before it burst but it still came quickly from finding it to clipping it. as i said my surgery is still very recent so im still a little out of it but im still recovering well according to my neurosurgeon. anyway, im sure there is a lot i would like to know once i browse around the forums a little bit. i also hope that after my experience i could offer someone some useful information. pleased to meet anyone and everyone.

Nicky

Hi Nicky,
Welcome to the forum. I had a clipping on an unruptured aneursym myself. Sounds like you are doing well. I think I slept continuously the first couple of weeks. Take things easy and let that brain heal up...Sarah
