Default Help

I am about 2 years into a C5 C6 Dervical fusion. Immeidately after operation the radiating and intolerable pain in my arm was gone. However, I continue to have both a numbness (at best) in part of my left hand thumb, next two fingers--radiating into hand. At the worst I experience a burning and stinging sensation. Most of the time it feels like the pain associated with coming in from the cold and getting the feeling back in your hand(s). Somedays I wish I could just cut my hand off. The fushion was done with a piece of my hip. DOC said at time (now retired) that he saw no permanent nerve damage,
Thye tested me for carpal tunnel syndrome. It is the same pain I had before operation--it just never went away. Anyone have similar experience or suggestions???
