If it does not change, move, or involve other parts of the body, then MP is most likely.
MP only involves sensory (feeling) nerves in the upper thigh. Motor is not affected. You can read about it here: http://www.aafp.org/afp/20000401/2109.html Fig 2B shows a diagram of the affected nerve. It can come from surgery to the hip, abdomen, or from wearing too tight jeans/pants/belts. Some men get it from keeping a thick wallet in a back pocket in jeans/trousers. If you search the term in our search function here forum wide, there are posts scattered around about it. You can also have a blood test for vitamin B12 as well to rule out a deficiency of this vitamin which when low damages nerves. A certain drug that may be available in SE Asia for diarrhea called Vioform (clioquinol) causes B12 deficiency and is very serious. If you have used this drug, see a doctor immediately. I don't know if you have it in the Phillipines. It is still available in some countries.
