Default va shunt 3 years

Hello All! I just found this site. I currently have a VA shunt (now for 3 yrs)
recently I have had chest "tightness" and extreme fatigue, some headaches that seem to be caused from either light or high pitch sounds. I have had multiple revisions in the past VP (several times) both the shunt itself and the distal end, the VA shunt was replaced on the top side 3 yrs. ago, due to a revision a month prior, that the shunt had been cracked while incision was closed. With the VA, I'm just not as familar w/ the symptoms as I was w/ the vp shunt. I've got an appt. in a couple of days w/ the NS, my vision has decreased and my gait/balance seem off. Got any suggestions?

Hi Britt, and welcome to NeuroTalk! This is a great place to hang out with lots of friendly and helpful people.

I'm sure someone will be coming along soon to direct you to the forum you need, or to offer some advice. Until then, take a look around. I have MS, and that's the forum where I post most days.
