Hi Pearl Girl and welcome to NT!
I am also B12 Deficient and have my B12 checked every 3 months. I give myself B12 injections twice a month or monthly depending on the blood tests. I can't speak to other docs but my PCP and Neurologist are both quite educated on B12 deficiency and looked for it when I was being dx'd with MS. B12 deficiency mimics MS. I can always tell when it's time for my B12 shot as my energy level declines and my toes are more tingly than normal. There is some good information on this forum about B12. Read up on it. Welcome!
