Hi there
I've just joined this forum. I had a c5/6 disectomy and fusion four days ago (complication arising from a wave ski riding accident four weeks ago when I also compression fractured L5). I am a mountain biker, rock climber and paddler. I know that I have to be pretty immobile for the first month and wear my neck brace, but am wondering how long I need to wait until getting back into robust sports. I'm also wondering what sorts of training and exercise I can do and how soon. Anyone with any advice or references / weblinks in this regard? Many thanks Mark |
