Red face Hi

I posted another thread but i am new so i figured i should post here too I am here because i have congenial facial paralysis and i am looking for other people with similar conditions to talk to. I have never really talked about my condition with anyone who shares so i have always felt very isolated i thought this might be a good way to feel less alone thanks

Hello--I have never talked to anyone with facial palsy either. I am 49 yrs old and have had my facial palsy since 1980. I was only 20 yrs old. It was one of the most difficult things I have had to endure---and I have been thru a lot. They use to believe that it was Bells palsy, but now they are questioning this diagnosis because of other new symptoms that I have. It happened within 24 hours of giving birth to my first child. Is yours Bells Palsy or something else?? How long have you had it, and what is your age? Although I would not wish this on anyone, It made me realize whats really important in life and just how strong I really am. I hope we get to chat more--take good care---hutch
