If you were using the new lightbulbs (light bulbs) that last for years you wouldn't even have to have a post about changing lightbulbs (light bulbs)!!!

apparently....

1 just wants to know if it is energy efficient (sandyC)

1 demanding: how and where do one dispose of the burnt out bulb? (curious)

1 claiming If one were using the new lightbulbs (light bulbs) that last for years one wouldn't even have to have a post about changing lightbulbs (light bulbs)!!! But apprently is unsure of the spelling (herekitty1960)

Maybe you could add at least 1 to give the benefits of living in the dark? It's almost impossible for me to reach my arm up high enough to change a bulb.

ummm, In about Jan. my DH put that 'new lightbulb' in that is to 'last forever' & it died a couple days ago. Ya know, they are only florecent lights. But they are more energy efficiant.

Oh, I forgot, is the light bulb (lightbulb) a 3-way or not. What is the wattage?

But be careful in disposing-those bulbs have mercury in them. That's what I hear. Green but not so green.

but it's not really a light bulb until you turn it ON - then it lights up ... otherwise .. it's only a bulb with itsy-bitsy wires inside ...

anyways - it took Edison over a 1,000 tries to get one to light up ... and someone asked him why it took him that long .. his reply: He now knows of over 1,000 ways that it doesn't work!
