Default I'm hysterical!!!!

A few weeks ago, we began using a new laundromat around the corner from our home. Alan and I both went in and introduced ourselves. (I am VERY bad with names). I have to say the name over and over and associate it with some THING, or I'll never remember it.

So the daughter introduces herself. She says "Hi, my name is Carrie Belle". I'm saying over and over to myself "Carrie Belle, Carrie Belle, etc.

The other day I walk in with Alan and we are going to do our wash. I was so proud that I remembered her name.

I walked up to the girl and I said:"I remember, you're CLARABELLE".

She burst out laughing and said; 'No, he's on Howdy Doody".

Alan nearly fell on top of the wash.

lol
