I have a new general doctor I'm seeing tomorrow and was curious what good questions/test requests I could ask about in regards to YOPD. (even if I get shot down)
I was thinking: Low blood sugar B6/12 Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus Cooties etc. Anything you can think of is welcome. Thank you all, Robert

- does he/she recommend that you take up smoking as a neuroprotective? all joking aside, you might want to inquire about a few clinical trials that most doctors should know about like Creatine or Coq10. I would want to be confident that my PCP is up on the most basic of research in PD. I would also want someone open to letting me try drugs off-label, like Isradipine (used to treat high blood pressure) with potential benefit to PWP. Definitely want to see how progressive he/she is toward seeing you as a "whole" person and who will consider the obvious crap you have to experience being a young PWP like how you cope with PD while working full-time, or dating, etc. Good luck! Thank you for the great info.
Unfortunately, all I could squeeze out of the doc was a vitamin B test. He didn't want to interfere with my MDS... who is probably gonna refuse to do any further investigation because apparently a clinical diagnosis is as good as 100% in their minds. I wonder if I could get my neuro and physician to talk? What a novel idea, (sarcasm) working together for the patient. I keep forgetting to be my own advocate. Maybe I could start billing the insurance companies Thanks again, Robert
