Shocked Shopping for the holiday

Well, I ventured out today to WallyWorld and AC Moore (more grandmother yarn!!). I believe the world thought it was the weekend after Thanksgiving. The traffic was a mess; there were no carts in Walmart; no place to park at AC Moore. I was a wreck after just doing a tiny bit of grocery shopping at WM. Had to use my cane to go into AC Moore I was tremor-ing so badly.

So, decision for the holiday shopping...I will NOT shop alone. My oldest daughter will have to go with me, or I with her. But I will not be shopping alone. It will be nice to have someone there to help me get change and bills out of my purse to pay. Good thing I am not a guy, I don't know that I would be successful getting change from my pockets without them going all over the floor.

Just tell me I am not heading to a DBS one day...ugh!! OH yes, and I love spell check and backspace. They are as awesome as cruise control on my car...LOL.

Carolyn,

I have always disliked the holiday crowds and end up even more anxious now. One thing I do is order online when possible and plan to do my in person shopping during the weekdays.

I'd love a DBS if they built in a spell checker mode for me!! What other kind of features might they build in so we could customize our DBS experience? an Ipod or Bill Me Later chip would be nice too.

Okay, if I'm to ever have a DBS, I would like a memory upgrade. And could they also outfit me with a sense of rhythm and the ability to carry a tune? A generally speed up the Ram?

Default Dbs

THe stuff they are working on now is cool! IPG's that automatically configure themselves to your stimulation requirements at any given point in time is one thing.
Your wishes will come true at some point.

Smile holiday shopping

I can't stand the crowds - I do most all my shopping on the computer from home!
