Default OT The Birds

My husband and I have been walking on a new trail very close to home and a wildlife refuge for scrub jay; not sure on the status of the other wildlife, but the scrub jay is threatened.

We noticed how friendly they were and not afraid. They talked and made noises right back as you talked and made noises to them. I felt they were getting uncomfortaly close and could land on me next.

That's what happened, and i ran from it; it didn't hurt - it was going to land in my hair.

My husband was saying Stop, turn around, and i finally did. the bird was just standing on my husband's head. It didn't look aggressive, was j ust chirping and making noises as if he was on a tree top......A completely friendly encounter. sooo funny.

they were talking to us.....i really like birds....they are completely interactive. but that's the first time what should be wild were as a whole...tame up to a point. they are tagged and obviously have human interaction.
