(I have a dear friend whose father died of complication of PD ~12 yrs ago. The folloiwng was a MAJOR problem for him. He never had other negative cognitive/impulse problems. The following only profiles 3 patients, so may have no clinical significance for larger population--still, better to be aware of potential. )
Reckless generosity in Parkinson's disease Movement Disorders, 02/02/10 Abstract O'Sullivan SS et al. – There is an increasing awareness of impulsive–compulsive phenomena in patients treated for Parkinson's disease (PD).
