Come back to center front and do the movement to the right side ...following your right hand as far as your body can turn. Then slowly come back to center front again and repeat this all several times. Do the movement several times a day,

Aunt Bean,

what propertiies in watermelon do you think may have helped you and when you move from center to side do both hands (or just one)move too? thx md

The watermelon has beta carotene & iron, potasium. Also has antioxidant properties. One site says it balances the blood. ..also helps blood flow.
Always eat watermelon as a meal by itself (not with any other fruits or foods , they slow it down and cause the watermelon to ferment in your digestive system, which is not good for you.
Watermelon has been my big treat now for over 3 weeks and I am still going strong with tincture (only about 4 drops a couple times a week if my tapping gets slow and I am using my wrist to help my fingers tap)

As far as the Qigong movement.... both hands go around like a helicopter turning half-way/then turning back . You watch the hand on the side you are turning until it is back in front/ then watch the other hand as it goes around to the back. Spread your feet apart & go slowly at first! God bless!

Things still going good for me ...still only taking the tincture occassionally for symptoms . Dad got sick and ended up in the VA hospital with pnuemonia...
was quite a sick puppy, but is better today and may come home tommorrow,
I planted about 126 fava beans this morning before going to the hospital and the last couple of weeks have gotten in about 480 where the barley was this spring. We need rain very badly and I have emptied my rain barrels and used 2 shelves of water bottles from the shed. Only 2 rows left and one will get used tonnight watering bean plantings that are just coming thru the ground.
Pray for rain to refill my rain barrels, it has been in the upper 80's and 90's so much and the ground is hard ...hopefully rain will come this weekend.
So far though my vegies are doing very well even in the drought conditions.
Wish you could all come for the September support group meeting...we have a great group of people here! Bless You Aunt Bean:grouphug:

Dear Auntie Bean,

I made your bean chips and am very impressed! They work well and I think the agave and the flax assist the fava - you are truly inspired! thanks ever so much for all you contribute in here. Sending much love to your fava plants too  We had a late summer in Oregon and I started my favas (about 24 plants) in early June. They seemed quite drought tolerant early on but once well established liked more water altho as different as the weather is these days I sometimes wonder if the sun rays fry them a little easier than usual . I bet your support group is quite lively and send ya'all mmy best joyous thoughts.
hugs back md

Fava Juice

Hi there,

I ordered fava juice from interenational gourment. What dosage should he be taking?

Thanks,
Sharmila

i suggest to start him on 1 to 2 tblsp ....i take mine with a sinemet once in the morning and once in the afternoon altho i only take an afternoon dose of fava on occasion.

bottom line for me is dosage is intuitive process - my regimen is NOT typical- i take as needed and listen to my body.

see how he feels.

kind regards md

I pray

I join many others who are inspired by you in praying for rain to wet your fava plants. May God answer our preyers :rain:.

So glad the fava pod chips work well for you. One thing a person can do if they can't grow the favas...buy juice from international gourmet and immediately make dried chips from that to preserve it in a more stable form..also take along form, which is cool.
God is good Blessings to you moondaughter! ( and everyone)

Well, the farm is doing very well right now. I got down to my last gallon jug of rain water from my many barrels and five shelves of water jugs that I fill from them. It rained finally
this week and filled my rain barrels up again!! Praise God. All the garden looks so much happier. The ground still is dry , but not brick hard....soft enough to work again. I have over 5oo plants growing for fall,,the greenhouse is in the works....and Aunt Bean is feeling better than ever. Not needing the tincture very often, but still taking 2 papaya chips every day at breakfast. Eating lots of watermellons, sweet peppers, tomatoes and beans from the garden, occassionally corn, & okra now coming on. Support group meeting is next Saturday...wish you could all come. Blessings to all Aunt Bean

Had a great weekend on the farm...parkinson's support group came out for a picnic.
Had sweet peppers, okra, tomatoes, watermellon to share. Weather was good.
Picked my first fava tops this last weeks for fall crop. Still feelinig great and eating lots of watermelon. My friend who is also going natural said she skipped a dose of tincture this last week when she took watermelon to work and just nuiibbled it all day. SO, who knows???? Love to all Aunt Bean

Question about fava beans

Hi there,

I order fava juice for my Dad from international gourmet.

I read how you make fava chips. Could I buy fresh fava beans and make them into chips using a dehyradator (or whatever its called. my friend has one).

Any thing else that helps?

Sharm
